The Pool

Our in-ground pool is 7 feet wide, 14 feet long, and 4-4½ feet deep with walk-in steps.  The pool is equipped with an Aquatic Access water-powered chair lift to assist patients upon entering the pool.  The pool is also equipped with two Badu Jet pumps for fitness training, underwater massage and endless no-lap swimming.  Many of our competitors charge an additional fee for physical therapy conducted in a pool.  Advanced Downtown Aquatic Physical Therapy does not charge this fee.

  • The indoor Aquatic Pool is kept at 90º to 91º.
  • The Aquatic Therapy Technician is either poolside or in the pool with  patients at all times.
  • Pool steps are built low for easy accessibility.
  • Individual therapy programs are developed specifically for your needs.
  • On-site pool so aquatic and land based therapy can be combined.
  • Swimming attire is provided at the patient’s request.
  • Private dressing area, including storage lockers, for your convenience.
